My work:
After The Storm
Creator: Lada Egorova
I wanted to explore mental health issues, particularly depression and suicide from the way a woman, a wife and a mother would experience it. I also wanted to explore how a suicide attempt could impact the dynamics of a family. We often see stories where someone commits a suicide and dies and then people around him have to keep living. But we don't see that often someone, particularly a mother attempt to commit suicide and then have to go back to her family and her life after such a traumatic event.
It's coming
Creator: Lada Egorova
I wanted to explore the horror genre and film a story where you never see the monster, its presence is ony implied through sound and lighting.
Little Girls' Dream
Creator: Lada Egorova
I wanted to explore the end of long-term friendships. How we can spend years with a friend, share amazing moments and memories with them but one day you have to go on different paths. It doesn't mean that all the things you shared with them are worthless. But as we grow up our goals, our dreams and ambitions change and we as people change.
The Real Man
Creator: Lada Egorova
Tom tries to remember his past as he is embarked on a man hunt where he needs to run as fast as possible to survive.
The street of lost lovers
Creator: Lada Egorova
I wanted to reference the French New Wave in the style, with a voice over and romantic themes. This story is a journey of a woman who returns to a place she used to go to with her lover, at first she remembers everything, missing those moments but then the more she remembers it the more she gets angry at her lover who left her and decides to no longer come back there. It is a monologue between a woman, her memories and a place.
Wherever You Go, There You Are
Creator: Lada Egorova
I wanted to write a story of people who want to change their lives and instead of listening to their fears or doubt, find the strength to just go for it.We often limit ourselves and what we can do because of something or someone who is holding us back. But what if we finally lived our life carefree, not ruled by fear of judgment, failure or regret. Live life fully and allow ourselves to change our path as much as we want. No matter how crazy the decision might seem or how unique the path will be.
