The Metamorphosis Project

Creator: Kaylen Ng
After a harrowing ALS diagnosis, Eric Lim is given the opportunity to test a virtual living experience called Metamorphosis. With the encouragement of his daughter Tegan, the two embark on a tour of the simulation, discovering a picture-perfect recreation of Eric’s home and a removal of all his ailments. But when glitches in the system start to show, Eric begins to see that his newfound “freedom” isn’t what it seems while Tegan tries to preserve their relationship, no matter the cost. They both must decide if hiding inside this illusion of normalcy is better than facing their new reality head-on.
