The reason this story was written because I believed it gives three different perspective on racism in the United States which is conformed into these three African America boys. Also, it challenges the fact how their upbringing can all plays in effect on how they view it. Just growing up as an African American man it was tough thinking about how I should view Racism, is always around the corner? should I stay in my place because it may not been the reason? As long as I act like this I will be good? This film challenges that.

The is a coming to age story based on my mother who’s a burn victim. Living with her scars in a Miami neighborhood this story explores that her scars are not flaw but, the power she may have needed all along.
