Julian Sol Jordan is a 24-year-old multidisciplinary filmmaker and musician from Dallas, Texas. His work blends narrative-driven filmmaking with a personal, emotional style, exploring beauty, metaphor, and the human experience. Making films since childhood, Julian brings a deeply intuitive approach to storytelling and a hands-on approach to filmmaking, often directing, shooting, and editing his own work. He has directed numerous music videos and edited several short and feature films. His most recent project, the solo, feature-length essay film REAL LIFE established him as an emerging filmmaker to watch. He is also the editor of the upcoming feature EL TONTO POR CRISTO, and is developing his new short, TAME THE LION, alongside a slate of debut shorts. Julian is part of the indie duo Sunrise Academy, where he created the band’s visual identity; the duo has gone viral online. He is currently finishing their debut album, Don’t Miss the Field Trip, while developing his debut narrative feature-length script.
