Joshua Beirne-Golden

Joshua Beirne-Golden is a writer and producer. He co-wrote and produced Kicks (2016), starring Mahershala Ali, which was produced by Animal Kingdom Films, distributed by Focus Features, and premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival. He wrote and co-produced Lowriders (2016), starring Demian Bichir, Eva Longoria, Tony Revolori, and Melissa Benoist. Lowriders was produced by Imagine Entertainment, Blumhouse Productions, and distributed by Universal Pictures. Most recently, he produced Soft & Quiet, which premiered in competition at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and was acquired by Blumhouse. He has sold and developed pilots at Showtime, FX, Universal Content Productions, and Gaumont, and written feature films for Sony, TriStar, Universal, Paramount, Original Film, and Macro. He holds an MFA in Screenwriting from American Film Institute Conservatory and a BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of The Arts.
