Toño is a Mexican director, writer, and cinematographer passionate for cultural representation in Animation and Live-Action Film/TV. Currently finishing his B.A. in Film and Chinese Studies Candidacy at Middlebury College, he perceives his study of foreign language literature and cinema as a tool to help him learn about the untranslatable nuggets of universal humanity burrowed in authentic social connection in cultural stories. Previously he has attended Gobelins, l'école de l'image in Paris as part of the Summer Visual Storytelling Class and has collaborated on music videos with artists from ESCENA - Escuela de Animación y Artes creativas in Mexico City.
