Jingjing is an emerging Chinese American filmmaker based in NYC. She is a Sundance Co//ab Imagined Futures winner, TIFF Filmmaker Lab shortlist, Sundance Writer's Lab finalist and Sundance Sloan Foundation finalist. Her work has screened at Nitehawk Cinema + MoMA, Cleveland International Film Festival, Bentonville Film Festival, Virginia Film Festival, Seattle Asian American Film Festival, and Museum of the Chinese in America. Her work has been profiled in Paper Magazine, AM New York, BuzzFeed, High Country News, South China Morning Post + more.

Struggling with a toxic home life, Joey attempts to find personal expression and autonomy by watching Spaghetti Westerns and the cowboy culture. Wielding lessons from John Wayne, she confronts her parents in a face-off and learns that life isn't as simple as the Westerns that she sees on TV.
