When you see someone you love suffering, part of you feels guilty for not having to suffer with them. This film acted as a vessel for sentiments I was experiencing after the loss of my mother- guilt, grief, withdrawal, but also a new found perspective and appreciation of the world and people around me. Nobody can shoulder life’s traumas alone, and sometimes we find help in the strangest places through the most unexpected circumstances. This film is about the catharsis and revitalization that we all undertake at some point while participating in this confusing, painful, beautiful world.
