In 2020 I decided to drop out of college and move to LA to become a filmmaker and actor. After moving into my new place I felt totally alone. I felt like dropping out of college already categorized me as a failure - I was a disappointment to my parents. I called my parents every day. On the phone, everything felt small and I felt the urge to project success through these feelings of inadequacy. This short was born from my darkest thoughts of imposter syndrome and my desire to give back to those who have supported me.

Dirty Criminals

When COVID hit I wasn't able to keep attending the school I was going to, so in order to emulate the experience I set the goal of every week I would make a sketch or short film. I had to do this always within 24 hours because of my work schedule. I taught myself everything on YouTube and went from there. I fell in love with filmmaking so I took everything on: writing/acting/directing/operating/editing/"mixing"/"coloring", I did it all on these weekly projects. I now look forward to making more and finding collaborators to help tell all stories, both light, and dark.
