I chose this story because I am very passionate about environmental-focused filmmaking. My interest in documenting nature led me to the Harvard Ware Collection, a one-of-a-kind collection of glass flowers and plants from all across North America and the world. This collection is one of Harvard University’s most famous treasures, and it was created by two brothers: Leopold (1822-1895) and Rudolf Blaschka (1857-1939). The collection represents an incredible feat of chemistry, biology, and art.
