Cold Chips follows 35-year-old daydreamer Sophie, who after many years of failed ambitions, has become frustrated with barely scraping by.This frustration leads Sophie to an unhealthy obsession with scratch cards, in the hope it will be her way out. After a small win gives her a taste of the life she has always sought, the obsession soon becomes dangerous, leaving Sophie with a difficult moral choice.
