Disha Ganjegunte

This short film starts a relatively unexplored conversation about a South Asian American high school senior who has her world change constantly due to her parents currently divorcing. She is constantly feeling all encompassing emotions and has to deal with the feeling of uncertainty. In the South Asian community, divorce is often still taboo and mental health is relatively not talked about. By incorporating South Indian culture and depicting the emotional rollercoaster this situation presents, I hope to create representation for those young adults who face their futures with their past changing. I hope to talk about mental health awareness.
