David Silverstein

David Silverstein is a former New Yorker and graduate of Emory University. After college, he earned his scars as a stand-up comedian performing all over Manhattan’s most legendary clubs. Ultimately, he found his passion was more in the writing of the jokes than the telling, and headed out west to attend the AFI Conservatory and earn his MFA in Screenwriting. While at AFI, he received a nomination for a student Humanitas Award, as well as the Richard M. Levinson Endowed Scholarship for his work. He has since worked on a Netflix scripted series and his latest pilot was a semifinalist at the Austin Film Festival for both best comedy pilot and the Warner Bros. Pilot Award.
