There's a story I've been telling for quite some time now which is really just a dad joke. There's something fascinating about taking people on a journey and getting them invested in it only for the end to be a punchline, they often feel betrayed somewhat. We're so used to jokes carrying a noticeable tonality that we're expecting someone to say something funny. I really wanted to see how this story I've been telling would translate to film and how I could frame it so that an audience watching it on a screen would be taken on a similar journey.
