I've always been a nervous child but have only recently had the understanding regarding mental health to call these nerves and their manifestations what they are: anxiety and panic attacks. They began in earnest when my father tripped, fell, and passed away. I was thirteen years old. Since then, I've lived in worry. It's not a healthy way to live. That's the message of this absurd horror comedy in front of you. 'Chipped' explores my paranoia, anxiety, and unwelcome negativity in a way that encourages others to let them go and let life happen, something I struggle with every day.
