After losing the love of her life, Phoebe must try to navigate through life with a void inside her. The stress of "what to do after someone dies" has halted her life from moving on to pursue her dreams of acting. As she gets ready for an interview for a job she doesn't want, she begins catching fleeting glimpses of a familiar face that seem to be leading her to what she didn't know she needed.

I found a quote in early high school that inspired the story, but I never wrote it until college for an assignment. While working on the script, I realized how close the themes were intertwining with my current life and emotional state, and the quote rang more true to me than ever. That was were I was compelled to see the project to completion. Everyone has a side of them that they are scared to show, and I wanted to translate that vulnerability into something that hopefully is thoughtful as well as engaging and entertaining.

In high school I wanted to do VFX. Once I learned how difficult it was navigating the industry I became very discouraged. While doing more research on how hard it was to make a career out of the arts, I turned that frustration into a story. In college, I went back to this script and changed the lense from where I viewed the story of how much are you willing to sacrifice for your dreams. I changed it from a straight forward modern one, to a medieval one, taking inspiration from what started my filmmaking dreams, Lord of the Rings.
