Visual Storytelling in its purest form. With the script and score written together, this is what I set out to achieve with "Safe and Sound". No dialogue, no effects, just an attempt at visualizing a story and developing a character obsessing over sounds and neglecting his personal life, a concept I can relate to as I am familiar and fascinated with sound design and foley. This is a story anyone can follow regardless of what language they speak, which I think is the essence of cinema.
