Briana Bierman

Briana Bierman is a New York-based archival producer and researcher who works creatively and collaboratively through all stages of production to bring stories to life using archival materials. She has worked on projects ranging from feature films to multi-part series to nightly news that have aired on Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, PBS, and HBO. Her archival credits include ENDURANCE (2024, National Geographic Documentary Films), BECOMING COUSTEAU (2021, National Geographic Documentary Films), THE INNOCENCE FILES (2020, Netflix), and VICE News Tonight on HBO. Briana also works as an archival consultant to build organizational systems and workflows that are tailored to a given project’s story and archival needs. As a member of the Archival Producers Alliance (APA), Briana collaborated on developing the GenAI Best Practices Tool Kit, part of the APA’s GenAI Initiative.
