Boafoa Offei-Darko
Boafoa Offei-Darko was most recently Executive Story Editor for Freeform and Hulu's GOOD TROUBLE, writing on the series for its last three seasons. Prior to her career in screenwriting, Boafoa worked as an advocate for incarcerated people facing sexual abuse in detention. Boafoa was born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland, and graduated from Wellesley College.
Her directorial debut, the short film, AKOS AND JANET, was an official selection at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, Accra Indie Fest, Richmond International Film Festival, and other festivals.
