Tamar Simon is the Founder and Owner of Mean Streets Management. Mean Streets Management is a private non-theatrical distribution and theatrical-marketing company focused on Jewish content films, helping those films maximize their Marketing/PR, additional revenue streams and personal audience engagement in the international Jewish and Israeli Film Festival Circuits. Additionally, we strategize and execute a strong outreach plan to book private screenings in the Jewish community and other audiences interested in Jewish/Israel content films - synagogues, churches, schools, universities, museums and for private organizations. We develop and/or help disseminate educational materials and provide event consulting for hosts, so they can produce a successful and meaningful event with the film. We build community-wide screening events by bringing together local synagogues and organizations to plan and co-sponsor together. We assist hosts to find sponsors and help curate for post-film discussions, with talent from the film if available and in budget, or with other relevant speakers and content. The most important part about private screenings is the personal engagement with the audience after they have seen the film, especially in an educational environment. Every member of a film-team has an audience that can benefit from crew/talent perspective on the film and filmmaking process. We create a very streamlined and personal process to book studio level films as well as independent films, so everyone is taken care of, on logistics and economically. I am always looking for new films with Jewish content to discuss distribution strategies! Please reach out to me directly via tamar@meanstreetsmanagement.com. Thank you!
