Washington, DC, USA
I am Chris Manydeeds. I am an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. My father grew up in Little Eagle, SD. I come from a large family, with three brothers and two sisters. I am the youngest. My father had his master's in education and my mother was a registered nurse, so education was very important in my family. I grew up in northern Wisconsin. I resided in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and Wisconsin since graduating from Law School. I attended college at the University of Minnesota for my bachelor's in Geophysics and law school at the University of Wisconsin. I live in Metro Washington, DC. I currently work for the Department of Health and Human Services. I have also worked with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Legal Services Corporation, the Red Lake Tribe, the Fort Peck Tribe, clerked for a judge in Minnesota and a college recruiter for the University of Wisconsin. I have a passion about writing, but I did it sparingly in the past. I hope to continue to follow my passion in writing and develop great habits through this process. I am enthusiastic about working with this group and I also take joy in encouraging others to do so.
