Alexandra Roca


Alexandra’s experience includes working as a host and correspondent for two National Geographic shows. She’s produced content for United Nations TV (UNTV), Discovery Channel, London 2012 Summer Olympics and multiple production companies, both in the US and abroad. Alexandra’s focus is to cover underreported issues and bring them to mainstream media. She has covered a wide variety of stories and worked in over 14 countries. Her stories range from remote indigenous communities, to interviewing political figures at the United Nations. For her solo reporting on Women’s Rights in Morocco, Alexandra was awarded by One World Media, in addition to numerous awards in film festivals worldwide. Her most recent short documentary, Afar (Cuba, 2018), which she directed, produced, shot and edited, has been in 13 film festivals and was shown at Cannes Short Film Corner.
