I was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the US as a kid, but when my family failed to obtain legal status, we moved back to Taiwan after I finished high school. After being away from home so long due to immigration status delays, when I came back to my motherland again I decide to visit revisits my roots in central Taiwan and Vietnam to reflect on my time away. This work is a love letter to myself and other third-culture kids who feel lost, like they don't belong, and that they just wanna go home.
