This film is about a Chicano American military veteran and his firsthand experiences in the Middle East after 9/11. To complement his story, we see the perspective of his family - his only daughter, and the impact his experiences had on her. Combined, they express the dynamics of collective trauma, the Chicano American experience, and the incalculable costs of war.
