Anu Sahar

This is an ode to jewelry and what I feel it represents in African and Black culture. It is more than accessories. It carries stories of heritage, nature, and pride. The joy I feel when putting on my uniform of jewelry is unmatched; it is Spiritual. Tired of my two cameras and tripods collecting dust, I thought, why not do my best to capture that feeling visually? And so, I decided to create this, my first film. I incorporate self-produced visuals with natural elements and media I grew up watching to create a visual of what beauty is to me.
