For some dancers, their art is faith. Nowhere is this more evident than in Tunis, where a tight-knit community of dancers fused breaking with contemporary influences to birth physical dance theater. REBORN meets dancers facing censorship, corruption, and cultural stigmas to dance professionally and freely.

Just as the COVID 19 pandemic was ending in Los Angeles, my 14 year old sister, Maya Logan, ran away. The child welfare system kept my sister running between hospitals, foster care, and rehabilitation centers. When Maya Logan died, my mother and I gathered everything we had to find out why.
