Anna Claringbould

Marc (40+), a Quebecois hitman, is completing a routine break and enter mission when he plunges headfirst into an amateur improv party held in his target’s apartment. Masquerading under a false name, Marc is torn between wanting to complete his mission and escape the torment of being included in improv scenes. His dramatic backstory begins to unfold to an unsuspecting audience as Marc does whatever he has to do to stay undetected, including drawing on past traumas. Playing on the border of truth and make-believe, this dark comedy winds through tension and laughter by a middle-aged man’s need to fit in and belong, despite his reasons for being there in the first place.
