Family Ties

This is my first directed short film in the past 4 or so years, written by my DP James M. Holmes. We are excited to try and get this project completed! He got the idea while listening to a Steve Harvey radio show (I won't go much into detail as to not ruin the film). It's loosely based on a true story--very loosely. Follows the relationship between an older man and a young woman. We are looking to get feedback on pacing, sound design, color, and if the story is interesting and/or creatively (or technically) done well. This is the very first cut of the film with fixes in the sound and color correction that need to be made, but it's close enough to our first cut that we feel good with sharing it for feedback. Any thoughts/suggestions/critiques are welcome! It's about 20 mins long. Thank you so much!
