Jessie Keyt



Jessie Keyt is an Assistant Arts Professor in the Department of Dramatic Writing at Tisch and a development, story, and script consultant for independent filmmakers and production companies in the US and Europe. Clients have included Alicia Keys, Nickelodeon, Working Title, 9 Story Media, and Bard Entertainment. Her award-winning feature film, SKIN, launched at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008 and received international theatrical release in 2009. She has been a senior story editor/head writer at Nickelodeon, is developing a television show for middle-school audiences, and is creator and co-executive producer of a limited series for television about Histoire d'O. Her plays have been produced at the Cherry Lane Theater and Manhattan Theater Source in New York City. Her fiction and non-fiction has been published and/or anthologized in Streets of Berlin, New Millennium Writings, Shelter, and Time Out New York. For several years, Jessie taught screenwriting in the MFA Film Program at Columbia University and at La Fémis, the French national film school in Paris.
