Carly Hugo and Matt Parker are Emmy-nominated producers and the co-founders of Loveless. Having collaborated for fifteen years, Carly and Matt have produced over thirty films together, which have premiered at the Sundance, Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto and New York Film Festivals. They produced Share with A24, which premiered in the US Dramatic Competition of Sundance 2019, and will air on HBO later this year. Carly and Matt were the recipients of this year’s Sundance Institute | Amazon Studios Producers Award for Feature Film, and Share was also awarded the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award and a Special Jury Award for Achievement in Acting. The film is based on a short film that won 1st Prize in the Cinéfondation section of Cannes. Carly and Matt recently produced a series of documentaries for HBO with Graydon Carter, including the Nora Ephron documentary, Everything is Copy, which was nominated for two Primetime Emmys, Agnelli, Suited, and Swiped. They also recently produced the narrative films To The Night, Approaching the Unknown, and Five Nights in Maine. Carly and Matt are currently in post-production on a docuseries for Showtime.

Their other films include Sundance premieres Mother of George, Restless City, Vera Farmiga’s Higher Ground, and HBO’s Hot Coffee, which was awarded a Television Academy Honor from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. They were co-producers on Leslye Headland’s Bachelorette, Academy Award-nominated Beasts of the Southern Wild, Peter and Vandy, Beware the Gonzo, and Beautiful Darling. Carly and Matt also produced two seasons of M2M’s “Tea at the Beatrice with Glenn O’Brien,” which featured interviews with such fashion luminaries as Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, and Nan Goldin. They have produced videos and commercials for Beyoncé, Conde Nast, Microsoft, Refinery29, M2M, and RCA Records, among others. Carly and Matt are mentors for the Sundance Creative Producing Program, and have been fellows of Tribeca All Access, IFP/Cannes Producers’ Network, IFP/Rotterdam, and Film Independent.
