Brett Weiner is writer/director originally from Boston. His short film Verbatim screened around the country including at the Sundance, South by Southwest and Telluride film festivals. He expanded the film into a webseries in collaboration with The New York Times, and the latest episode, Verbatim: The Ferguson Case, was an official selection of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
He has also directed projects for TruTV, ABC Digital, AwesomenessTV and Fullscreen, as well as created branded content for national brands including Hotels.com, Tostitos, Skittles, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Sony, Casio, Warner Brothers and Fox Home Video. He co-created Honest Trailers, a webseries that now has over 2 billion views.
In 2017, he was selected as a fellow for the Sundance Directors and Screenwriters Labs for his upcoming feature, Social Justice Warrior.
