Adham Garman
Adham Garman is a filmmaker based in NYC, born in Sana’a and raised between Yemen, Ethiopia, Germany and the United States. He is currently a Literature and Film student at New York University. Adham is passionate about exploring coming of age, loneliness, and attachment in queer, diasporic-driven stories that traverse gender politics and the intersection of family, religion, and culture within Arab and SWANA communities. He is a 2026 Cinéphilia Productions TV/Film Workroom Fellow. His work has screened at Istanbul International film festival, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, 12 Gates Arts, Northwest Film Forum. He was also previously selected as a Foundation Screenwriting Lab Fellow at the Doha Film Institute and has worked with the Marrakech International Film Festival and the Santa Fe International Film Festival.
