With "fear not." I wanted to tell a story where HIV and faith are mentioned in the same sentence in a positive manner and have it lead to a hopeful conclusion for the main character. Black Queer Men living with HIV deserve to see and hear messaging that reaffirms their humanity, tells them that they are accepted and loved, to be told that there is space for them within faith-based spaces, and that all of this is a possibility for the future for Black Queer Men.
