Kaelyn Grosser– director and producer– is a Sacramento native who moved to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue filmmaking. She will graduate Spring 2026 from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre and Screen Arts at 19, focusing on film directing and production. Her work centers on complex female characters navigating self-discovery and the wider world. Her films have screened at Pepperdine and Sacramento film societies. She directed Threads, a female-driven coming-of-age story centered on a young woman’s transition out of childhood, and Yours, which explores a woman’s search for faith amid a meaningless existence. She is currently Associate Producer on The Lay Off, a senior thesis film premiering in April 2026. In her career, she aims to direct and produce feature films that highlight the complicated female experience.
