I chose to tell this story because eco-anxiety is a defining psychological weight of the new generation. Many young people feel paralyzed, trapped between a terrifying global narrative and the isolation of their own bedrooms. By focusing on the protagonist's internal journey, I wanted to validate that overwhelming sense of powerlessness while challenging the idea that "small" means "insignificant."
