While You Sleep

One of my close friends in middle school was hit and killed by a drunk driver. Ever since that incident, I've known I wanted to bring awareness to the consequences that reckless decisions have. While You Sleep was my way of processing that loss-not just as a memory, but as a message. Through the film, I wanted to explore how trauma echoes through people’s lives long after the headlines fade, and how grief can quietly reshape the way we see the world.
