Calling all shorts filmmakers!

Did the challenges of 2020 make you put your short film on ice? Maybe the timing, content or tone didn’t feel right, or production restrictions and safety protocols made the project feel impossible to pull off.

Well, Kickstarter’s film team, Liz Cook Mowe and Elise McCave, are back on Sundance Co//ab to explore how to make the most of crowdfunding for your short film in today’s changing world. They’ll share recent case studies and best-practices for crowdfunding success.

They will also talk about the upcoming Long Story Short initiative. It’s an invitation for filmmakers to launch a Kickstarter campaign for their short film in March and receive dedicated promotional support throughout the month, as well as the love, encouragement and support you’ve come to expect from the Kickstarter team and community.

Bring your crowdfunding questions and brilliant ideas, and leave equipped with the skills and confidence to launch a successful campaign.

All Sundance Co//ab webinars are recorded and will be available for all registrants after the live event. Please allow up to 24 hours after the live event for the recording to be posted.

If you have a disability and require accommodation in order to fully participate in this event, please complete this form, contact us at (435) 776-7900 or email us at accessibility@sundance.org to discuss your specific needs.
