Alizé Perez is a Cuban-Peruvian filmmaker based in New York City. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, she grew up immersed in the arts. Her early relationship with visual arts naturally evolved into filmmaking, where her work explores themes of identity, memory, and family, often anchored in intimate, character-driven narratives.
Currently pursuing a BFA in Film & Television Production at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, she has gained industry experience through internships at the International Emmy Awards, engaging in global storytelling, and at 1stAveMachine, contributing to projects for high-profile brands.
As a director, Alizé approaches filmmaking with a strong sensitivity to visual texture, world-building, and tone. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to see a project holistically, crafting stories that reflect the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
