I chose to tell the story about my City I was raised up in and still currently reside in until this day, which is Newark, of New Jersey, because as our city is growing back up in media do cinema from its original roots, (nation’s birthplace of film), I wanted to showcase my city in the style of a Documentary paired alongside my other passion, a Poet of mine with the same title. Reminding our residents and the rest of the world, that these buildings, paintings, murals, festivals, artists and hustlers, are real!
