About this Video
I chose to tell this specific story because members of my family have struggled with addiction my whole life. It is something not enough people talk about with compassion. I have seen people call my family fools or monsters. But I see them as people. I have heard people consistently talk about addiction from the viewpoint of admonishment. I want people to see it as something people live with. The same way anyone would live with any disease.
