I chose to tell this story because I wanted to explore the complexities of female relationships within the queer community—how patriarchal conditioning can manifest in obsession, codependence, and even manipulation. "We Liked Your Vibe" examines the dark undercurrents beneath spaces meant to be safe, questioning what happens when personal gain collides with genuine connection. By centering a largely female cast and crew, the filmmaking process itself became an act of resistance, mirroring the story’s themes. This film is about the violence we enact upon each other—and ourselves—when we lose sight of our own autonomy.
