I made Vasera from a place of personal reflection. When I first arrived in Australia, I found it difficult to feel settled, even with familiar food and language around me. Visiting the gurdwara and listening to the stories of senior members of the Sikh community deeply moved me. Their experiences revealed the strength and sacrifice required to build a sense of home in an unfamiliar land. Vasera honours their resilience and the lasting legacy they created for future generations.
