While pursuing my college degree, I faced severe financial instability, which eventually forced me to rely on the city's homeless resources. Living within a youth shelter, I was deeply moved by the profound, heartbreaking, and entirely untold stories of the young people we pass every day but rarely truly see. Witnessing their resilience amidst struggle inspired me to film a documentary focused on one of my roommates. By sharing his specific narrative, I aim to amplify silenced voices, increase public awareness, and create a bridge of empathy and relatability between the audience and the broader homeless community.
