It was off-season in a beautiful place, the start of fall and winter. I was freshly heartbroken. I'd shot 7,000 feet of 16mm film that I adapted into an 18 minute short film. It seemed a shame to leave such loved frames discarded, so I played around and made something that captured the mood, or the state of mind I'd been in while I was there, rather than a narrative story. It is 1 minute 40 seconds long. I didn't enter it into festivals but it garnered 19,000 views on Youtube with no prior traction or following.
