Everyone feels lost in their twenties. Twenty-two is a raw, intimate documentary capturing the good, bad, and ugly of early adulthood–navigating ambition, uncertainty, and identity. Shot on an iPhone and a $100 digital camera, it follows my journey through the Netherlands, Belgium, and France as I search for meaning, fulfillment, and a path forward. Torn between the two sides of twenty-two, nihilistic hedonism and existentialism, between who I was and who I’m becoming, this film is a reflection of growth, grief, and the unfiltered reality of coming-of-age. At 22, I’m evolving rapidly. Where will I be at 23?

Megan Chang is a Taiwanese American freelance writer, performer, director, and producer bridging dramedy, cultural history, and current events to present unabashed Asian American narratives. She's worked on various major Hollywood productions, including Dollface (Hulu, LuckyChap), American Crime Story (FX), The Idol (HBO), and Descendants (Disney). She's a proud cinephile and animal lover.
