I chose to tell this story because I’m fascinated by how strangers can become briefly, intensely connected through a shared goal. It’s a way to explore chance, curiosity, and the quiet trust that can form between people who have no history together. The search becomes less about finding Turner and more about what the journey reveals: how we project meaning onto others, how we look for direction in moments of uncertainty, and how connection can feel both accidental and necessary. At its core, this story is about the tension between randomness and destiny.
