John Kim is a writer-director whose films explore the unseen struggles and contradictions that shape us, embracing raw vulnerability and moral ambiguity. Rooted in the belief that no one is inherently evil—only shaped by circumstance—his work seeks to reveal the honest depths of the human experience. His films have screened at LA Shorts International Film Festival, Montreal Independent Film Festival, and NFFTY. A USC Film & TV Production graduate, John has brought his visual storytelling to Republic Records, Columbia Records, and House of Hazard, crafting campaigns for artists like Lil Wayne, Kayzo, and Leon Bridges.
