After a long and lonely winter, a man emerges from isolation in his secluded home and prepares dinner for an expected, mysterious guest. He sets down a trap in the forest, follows a recipe recorded on a cassette tape, and cooks a beautiful rabbit meal in preparation for the guest’s arrival. By nightfall, everything seems to be ready and perfect when a visit from the local priest threatens to shatter the perfect illusion of the evening and bring to light a dark and unnerving truth.
