Bilel Zaghdoudi is a Tunisian filmmaker and visual artist whose
work explores psychological tension, inner perception, and the
fragile boundary between reality and subjective experience. With
a background in editing and visual construction, his cinema is
rooted in rhythm, restraint, and atmospheric storytelling.
His films focus on isolated characters confronting memory,
absence, and emotional weight, where visual form reflects inner
states rather than external action. His short film 1321 was
officially selected at the Casablanca Arab Film Festival and the
Carthage Film Festival (JCC), marking his interest in intimate,
perception-driven narratives.
He recently directed the psychological thriller The Shadow of
Her, continuing his exploration of intimate, perception-driven
narratives.
