A hitchhiker gets picked up by a stranger. Both skeptical of each other's intentions, they hesitantly hit the road. The two strangers attempt to get acquainted whilst stuck in the same vehicle. Surrounded by vast landscapes and a deserted road, the two savour a fleeting moment of liberation on the open road. The car disappears through a misty road. The pair struggle to navigate against the obstructed view. Dreamlike encounters cloud the duo’s perception of the world. The two find themselves floating in between an ethereal reality and vivid nightmare. They find themselves inside The Wayside.
